The most effective tactics used by the Latino movement was doing public speaking, creating their own organization and boycotts. In the previous years, the Mexican farm workers had joined with Filipino American workers that helped them in forming strikes and to use proper strategies that lead to stand against the increasing civil rights. There were more than 100 strike actions and boycotts and other events that provided an idea that the movement was supported across the United States and Canada. Latino movement was successful in creating a farmworker union which even included some of the powerful leaders.
